Make An Impact Today
This is more than a bike ride. It is a mission to support those who served, continue to serve, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
RAGBRAI LIII: ARMY OF SPOKES
Fundraiser Supporting Special Operations Families
From July 18-25, 2026, the Army of Spokes team will ride across Iowa in the annual RAGBRAI LIlI. This ride honors the extraordinary sacrifices of our Special Operations Forces and celebrates their unwavering service to our Nation. Every mile represents resilience, remembrance, and our continued commitment to those who give so much, asking for nothing in return.

Meet The Team
The Army of Spokes team is a distinguished group of leaders, veterans, and professionals united by a shared commitment to service, sacrifice, and community. They represent decades of experience across military leadership, Special Operations, and civilian life and have dedicated themselves to continuing to serve long after their time in uniform.
Together, they ride to honor and support the entire Special Operations Community – Active Duty Families, Retired Families, and Families of the Fallen.
The Riders: General (R) Tony Thomas, COL(R) Christopher Vanek, LTC (R) Kris “K2” Kerksick, Dr. Brad Millard, COL (R) Jim Wanovich, Mr. Austin Oberbillig, and MAJ (R) Logan Veath.
Make Every Mile Matter
100% of funds raised will be donated to The Station Foundation, supporting active-duty service members, veterans, military spouses and children, and Gold Star Families. Your donation helps Special Operations families navigate the impacts of combat on their journey home.
All contributions are fully tax-deductible, and every dollar goes directly toward The Station Foundation's programs that provide genuine healing to those who served.

About The Station Foundation
The Station Foundation is a national nonprofit committed to serving the U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF), Veterans, and their families. Founded with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by this community, the organization focuses on strengthening both individual resilience and family bonds.
Through a range of highly specialized programs, The Station Foundation provides:
Service Member: Designed to honor the full arc of the warrior's journey, guiding them into the next chapter with purpose and strength. Through tradition, rites of passage, and mentorship, participants reconnect with their deeper identity and prepare to navigate life beyond the uniform.
Spouse: Empowering programs that encourage spouses to identify and value themselves as a priority. Spouses learn how to balance service for others and care for self through a variety of mindfulness and self reflection practices.
Youth: Comprehensive survival training with a realistic wilderness mission that reconnects service members and their children. This experience fosters validation, enhances self-worth, and strengthens bonds that last well beyond their time in Montana.
Gold Star Children: Leadership wilderness camp that supports Gold Star Sons and Daughters through crucial life transitions. Participants develop healthier coping mechanisms, increase self-awareness, and build connections within the SOF community.
